I bought some pheremone-loaded special sticky fly traps and have caught a fair number, but still they come. Fly-screens for next year may well be necessary :(Sue Krekorianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18076417498229441909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4645014314539406825.post-42142117641404227682010-09-17T03:05:05.632-07:002010-09-17T03:05:05.632-07:00Well I suppose thats one thing we must be grateful...Well I suppose thats one thing we must be grateful for here in the North..its been too cold for most insects this summer. We have been out most of the day so no doors or windows open and as far as I could tell were fly free before we went. On our return there were another dozen or so in the living room carefully avoiding the fly paper! They're not daft. Haven't heard of the bag of water remedy - thankyou for that Carlseapatch. I have murdered so many, they could end up extinct by next year.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06826501916623305535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4645014314539406825.post-47431298325593329192010-09-16T04:25:21.409-07:002010-09-16T04:25:21.409-07:00My house fly problem was earlier in the year but f...My house fly problem was earlier in the year but fortunately they have disappeared now. Don't know what the answer is - I suppose it is keep all doors and windows shut - or suffer. Hope it soon passes, flypapers are such gruesome things. The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.com
