A new addition to the family.

This is Chester - a Laza Apso/Poodle cross. (I'm not at all sure about that spelling). He belongs to out second youngest daughter and visited us for the first time a couple of days ago. He is utterly adorable, about twelve weeks old and so soft and cuddly though rather difficult to photograph as he's full of beans.

This pic is sharper as he was taking a break!

In case you are cold, like me, I thought these sunny photos might warm us up a bit. I took them a few days ago when it was trying to be summer.

Today it has given up again and the clouds are tearing along and we have brief sunny spells interspersed with heavy squally showers. Bad luck for summer weddings and all those village fetes, etc.

It is supposed to be a fine day tomorrow. If so, I have a date with a comfy garden chair sitting watching the weeds grow!

It is Lhasa Apso I think Heather (after the place in Tibet??) he looks adorable.

My favourite occupation is watching the weeds grow. At present I would need several fleeces on though as it is very cold.

Incidentally my friend says that the lovely pixie shoes you made were featured in Stitch magazine. If so could you please let me know which month so that I can buy a copy and have a go at them?

It wasn't my work in Stitch magazine Peadar. I simply followed the instuctions of the artist who designed the fairy shoes, etc. Her name is Annette Emms and her work is fantastic.

A lovely little dog, he looks as if he has a big smile on his face. I think watching the weeds grow sounds like an excellent plan for tomorrow.

What a gorgeous ball of energy. We are in the throws of looking for a new time waster, but not until we've had our holiday.

Bees and Butterflies are definitely what Summer is made of Heather, even though the longest day is the day after tomorrow!
Love your well chosen photos, especially the big ball of fluff!
