I made these little landscapes about two years ago and in their original state I thought they were OK. However, looking at them again recently, I felt they were lacking something so I have tried to improve on them.
I added a couple of standing stones to the one above,
and a dead tree - bit of driftwood - to the next one.
Then three standing stones to this one. What makes you think I like standing stones? They definitely needed something extra and I am hoping this has done the trick. There are three more to tackle.

Looks like you are having a good "up close" re-visit with your projects. I like what you have done so far.
Love the addition of the standing stones, really nice pieces
I do like the additions, they give the pieces so much more depth.
Really like the add ons (if they are words!)to these.
Isn't it wonderful that we can return to projects and add if we want to.....I think you have a done a great job with these....love the addition of the stones.....
These look lovely. The standing stones really do add to the landscape.
often takes a while before you can look at your own work objectively doesn't it? I don't think I ever saw the originals but I do like what you produced Heather. love the texture in the bottom one too.
What a great idea Heather...they all look good and I agree with Maggi - you've given them extra depth.
I'll have to get some of my past pieces out and have another look at them :-)
