Wishful thinking?

I took this photo a couple of days ago and nothing much has changed - it has been so bitterly cold. I thought we could all enjoy the thought of these actually coming out fully, whilst being aware that by tomorrow or the next day they could be under a couple of inches of the dreaded white stuff. I know some parts of the country have already had more snow but do hope it doesn't bother with us again.
.
I don't know where the time has gone this week, and I certainly don't have anything interesting to show for it. Creativity seems to be hibernating and my workroom is in a dreadful state again. I need someone with a pointed stick to prod me into action - any takers?

I think everyone is feeling the same at the moment to varying degrees! I love the books in the previous post the colours are beautiful.

Consider yourself poked! Snowdrops are lovely and hopeful aren't they?

Enjoy your cool weather, I don't mind if you send some our way tomorrow, it!s going to be 41deg C. I know the answer to the studio organization, clean up as you go. Someone told me that, but I never had time, now I work in it daily it really does make a difference.

Thankyou for the encouragement everyone, and the poke Jackie, and the sound advice Ro - I don't think I could cope with 41degrees. I'll stop moaning and put on another layer of clothes!

Snowdrops are so delicate and pretty (note to me - get some bulbs for next year).
I keep going out looking for signs of spring in the garden...the buds are definitely there :-)

It's so lovely to see the little shoots coming up, and the buds forming on trees in your garden. Don't worry about the creativity, Mum, after all, you've made the handmade books and they're lovely. I'll be up next week with something far nicer than a pointed stick - more soup...:D x x x

Your books you showed in the previous post are lovely - you haven't lost any creativity. I hope the snowdrops are out soon. We haven't had 41 degree temps here, but we are battened down because a cyclone is crossing the coast about 120 km north of us as I type. No damage here, but far too early to know what is happening in Bowen. Cheers

I hope the snow missed you as it did us, it would be a pity to see the lovely snowdrops disappear.

Hi Heather
thank you for following the trials of the run up to my degree exhibition, its lovely to have your generous comments. I know its a long way but if you visit London at all and were there in May let me know and I'll send you an invite to the Private View.
Love the books by the way.
