Some Gorgeous Goodies.

I had some 'pocket money' for Christmas and decided to put it toward some special threads and silk tops. These all came from Mulberry Silks - www.mulberrysilks-patriciawood.com . There are various packs available - the ones here are all from the Connoisseur range. I think I shall make some silk paper with the tops and use some with the embellishing tool.
I love the colours in the top pack and it's title 'Down the Deep Lanes'. There are so many lovely shades of green in the Foliage pack.

The photo here doesn't do the colours justice - they are glorious, especially the last pack which is called 'Medieval'. I shall have to come up with an extra special project for them. At present I haven't plucked up the courage to open the packs and am just enjoying looking at them. That wont get me very far will it? I'm suffering from artist's block right now, and hope these will unblock it. I have never been so extravagant, so I hope they work!!

Mulberry Silks have the most glorius threads, I bet you don't open them for ages, I bought a small pack when I was doing C&G and had them for years before I used them along with all those little squares of glitzy fabric from Stef Francis :)

I hope you unblock soon as these are gorgeous. But then again you could just stroke them for a while.

They look wonderful, Heather, i always look at them longingly when i go to the shows and then draw back when I look at the price, i just need to have a good reason to buy them.
Good luck with creative block hope it moves soon , I feel the same, maybe it's the weather and time of year.

I've unpacked them or they'll just become ornaments! I also found some I had bought during C&G so put them all together in a box which I purr over at regular intervals.

Oooh you've brought back lovely memories; I used to buy these packs many years ago when I belonged to the Living Threads Group.
Thank you for giving the link to the website; now where's my card...
