Finished at last and I have since bought some buttons and sewn them on. It's not exactly a fashion garment but is so snug and warm, and I am wearing it right now. It's not a minute too soon either as I have been feeling decidedly yukky, on and off, since having that flipping flu jab last Saturday. I have never had any reaction to the them in the past but this one is not being nice and I want someone to take it away.
I am nicely wrapped in my cardigan feeling rather like a very old bear who wants to hibernate in the back of her cave. I've only got until next Tuesday when I host our group meeting and I'm looking forward to it, so Spring needs to come early for me!

That's lovely Heather. I love the colours and the random texture looks great. it's certainly gone cold enough here today to warrant a warm woolly.
that looks gorgeous Heather, lovely, warm and cosy. sounds just like what you need and lovely shades of blue. hope you feel better soon.
Ooh yes, it looks smashing! Warm too.
I refused the 'flu jab I've had the real thing three times in my life and don't want anything injected. I hope you feel 100% better very soon.
I love it!
I never get a flu shot either - although I'm sure as I get older people will be more insistent...
Gorgeous snuggly cardy. I hope you shake off the yucky feelings soon xx
It looks fabulous Heather, the colours are gorgeous. Every second person here has a cold as our weather decides what to do. It was 30deg C on Thursday, 13deg C today, which is cold to us.
Absolutely lovely Heather - you are so quick with that knitting - did you sit up all night?
Very snazzy... it looks great. Hope you feel better soon.
Looks very cosy Heather....great colours too. Bet you'll get a lot of wear out of it in the coming months :-) xx
That looks lovely and warm Heather, the cold weather has certainly decsended on us suddenly!! I had my flu jab today at the back end of a cold so hope it works , Roy had his and is already thinking he has 'man flu'!!
Your jacket looks lovely and cosy Heather. I hope you feel better soon. We had the flu jab last year and we both think we're suffering ever since. Rather scared to try it again this year.
There's nothing like a nice warm cardigan on a cold autumn or winter's day - especially if you are feeling under the weather - hope you are doing better now. DH has the flu jab every year since he has asthma but so far I've never had one even though I'm well into the age group that is supposed to have them.
