My father was a firm believer in planting by the moon. He would plant above the ground and below the ground crops at different times, depending on the moon. He had a very prolific vegie garden.

Old farmers always used these methods didn't they? I think, like a lot of these old things, it is foolish to suggest that there is no truth in them. After all, the tides are controlled by the moon.
